A 1- In General
we need name of your company and full style (we cannot
offer or sell to individuals)
-origins of our items offers are always 〝Brazilian or
Argentinean , sellers/ our option〝.
- which contract basis to be used such GAFTA, FOSFA, etc
- quantity, total quantity, and max quantity per shipment
- exact discharge port
- maximum discharge rate in MT/day they can achieve
- shipment period required
- price best possible and realistic idea on C+F or CIF
basis
- payment method proposed by your company

Referring to the
Soybean Meal:
- Origin: Argentinean or Brazilian
- Specifications:
Protein 46.0 % Min
Moisture 12.5% Max
Fiber 7.5% Max
Sand/Silica 2.5 % Max
Fat 2.0 % Max
- It is imperative to clarify two things:
a) We have here in South America, different qualities
with different protein and fat contents of soy bean meal
or pellets for animal feeding.
Protein and fat percentages added, is called profat.
Basically two types: - 44% profat and 46% profat( which
means44% protein and 2% fat added) . When you are saying
44%, we do not know if you want 44% protein or 44% profat,
need to clarify this.
b) Most mills here in Brazil and Argentine , 95/97% of
them, producing soybean meal in pellets form.
Hope you know what is meal in pellets. Meal is a kind of
gross powder. Pellets is meal pressed in small cilinders,
about 1 cm diameter and 2 cm length. So meal and pellets
analytically is the same product, only different is the
form of presentation. Nowadays all over the world most
producers and buyers prefer to produce and consume pellets
because makes much less the loss in weights during
inland and sea transports, at loading and unloading, and at
the silos and manipulation of the material. On top cuttle
eats pellets better than meal.
c) We must also know what they are thinking regarding
payment
terms. But heard sometimes some of the buyers they want payment
only when and after discharge, subject authorities to release the
cargo at destination after quality and weight checked by authorities,
which is a risk we will not take, unless they pay part as
provisional payment between 20/30% of the shipment value upon
contract and the balance in this case yes we can accept CAD after
arrival at destination and after checking quality and weight
there.
- So appart of all or most in 1) general above need specific a) to c)
replies for the soybean meal they want.
PAYMENT TERMS: Our prices depend on the payment terms
- To be effected strictly as per following payment terms.
i)US$, corresponding to 25% of total contract value, to be paid by
TT/Swift into seller account to European us bank to be informed and
not later than 48 hours from contract signature by fax.
Il)US$ , corresponding to 75% of total contract value, payable either
by:
a) documentary letter of credit to be irrevocable, ay sight,
transferable and confirmed, or b) C.A.D. (cash against shipping
documents, at sellers or buyers bank. Obs: a) or b) payment options
for II) part of the payment will be decided after approval of final
buyers name.
L/C terms and conditions to apply in case of L/C payment:
Irrevocable;
- At sight 100% against shipping documents required in the L/C(s);
Transferable;
Divisible;
Assignable;
Opened by acceptable first class bank;
Confirmed by top first class European acceptable Bank,
confirmations fees for buyers account;
Negotiable at any Bank;
Partial shipments allowed;
Opened in full and negotiable from the opening Bank to advising bank
by tested telex/swift;

- Commodity: Yellow corn (south American origin, equivalent US grade
No. 02).
- Origin: Brazilian or Argentinean, seller's option.
- Packing: Lose in bulk.
- Specifications: crop 2003, basis ANEC 44
Standard specs :
Moisture: max 14.5.
Foreign matters : basis 1.0 % - 2.0 %
Damaged beans: max 8%
Pure sound complete beans: min 80.0%.
Total impurities: max 27.0%, of which:
- heated damaged and germinated: max 10.0%
- broken: max 5.0%
- foreign matters: max 2.0%
- sand/silica: max 2.0%
- ashes: max 2.0%
- crude fiber: max 3.0%
Protein: min 8.0%
Free from poisonous seeds/husks, castorseeds and husks.
- Of course we need all as in 1) above general also for
the corn
- Weight/Quality/Condition: Weight and quality to be final
at time
and place of loading as per certificates issued by a first
class independent surveyor at sellers` option and expense.
In case of surveys for quality and quantity to be done at
the unloading ports, they shall be for buyers account.
Any weight or quality eventual discrepancies between
surveys at loading and unloading port, to be for sellers
account and responsibility,
at contract price, and provided both surveys have been
effected by the same survey company at loading and
unloading ports.

Commercial invoice.
Full set 3/3 B/Ls marked clean on board and freight payable
as per Charter Party .
Certificate of origin .
GMO Certificate, if requested.
Fumigation Certificate .
Phytosanitary Certificate .
Shipped weight/draft/quantity and quality/analysis
certificates
- Licenses/Taxes: All licenses / dues / taxes in the
importing
country and/or country of discharge are for buyers`
account and at their risk.
-Insurance: Insurance of the goods to be for buyers` account.
PAYMNETS TERMS ( prices depen on the payments terms )
-Payment: To be effected in two parts, strictly as follows
( Twenty five percent)of total contract value to be paid by
TT (telegraphic direct swift transfer) not later than 48
hours from contract signature by fax to the nominated
sellers bank and account.
( Senty five percent ) balance of total contract value to
be payable either L/C or CAD, to be agreed upon, which will
be decided upon or during confirmation.
-Payment: By two L/Cs, first covering FOB Stowed value at
loading port, second covering freight value, both within
below main terms: irrevocable, at sight 100% against
shipping documents required, both opened at the same time
from same bank to same bank, divisible, transferable,
confirmed by first class acceptable Bank in USA or Europe,
opened in full and operative by swift/telex, negotiable at
any Bank, third party shipping documents allowed, partial
shipments allowed, reimbursment bank to bank instructions
by swift within h-24 hours from funds claim from
negotiating bank, other L/C conditions to be informed upon
booking and along with opening instructions and bank
details.
