This is a multi-function AAS which includes not only flame atomic absorption analysis, but also atomic absorption spectrometry with hydride flow injection (with atomizer temperature-controlled system and automatic reading function), flame emission, visible/ultraviolet solution molecule absorption, graphite furnace atomic absorption, flow injection on-line preconcentration, etc. It is now a home large-scale and precise analysis instrument, which has more functions and better comprehensive performance than that of home and abroad due to the special new technology used. Such an instrument with low cost, high stability, low detection limit and high sensitivity can partially replace visible/ultraviolet spectrophotometer. It is very much prettier with better cost-performance ratio of this instrument than that of generic atomic absorption spectrophotometer. As a result, it was appraised as a 2003BCEIA Golden Product Prize by experts in the atomic absorption spectrometer area.
Features:
1. High energy- The atomic absorption detection system with spectrum bandwidth of 0.2nm and negative high voltage of 150-350V innovated and researched by this company has super strong light energy to make full scale transmittance T% for all measurable elements only at a lamp current less than 3mA, and for the same situation the negative high voltage of 185-250V is just enough if the hydride element lamp and Hg lamp at optimized current are used.
2. High sensitivity – The instrument is researched and developed by the professors and senior engineers who have many experiences in developing many types of instruments. The typical application of “high-efficient glass atomizer with metal casing” (China Patent Product used by almost all the home instrument factories in atomic absorption) only produced by our company and unique technology make the sensitivity of element determination for atomic absorption spectrometer to reach a new and the best international level, that is, absorbance, 1μg/ml/Cu≥0.3 (sensitivity ≤0.015 μg/ml/1%), which is better than many international famous spectrometers brands.
3. High stability, high precision – The detection system of this instrument has very high stability and very low noise in which various parts with better performances are perfectly used together. The highest precision scale displayed by 0.0000 can be designed because of the instrument’s higher stability and lower signal-to-noise ratio, which make drifting less than 0.002abs in 30 minutes. And this kind of atomic absorption spectrometer has been scarcely in such high sensitivity and low detection limit.
4. High-energy hollow cathode lamp is used –The high-energy hollow cathode lamp (China Patent Product) is used to increase light intensity from of more tens of percent to even several times and reduce disturbance nearby spectral line, so as to improve analytical operation. The power supply with high-energy lamp using the bitable current circuit designed by us can not only make the debugging fast-speed and simple but also can make the high-energy lamp to get the best stability and intensity, which is the most typical application for high-energy lamp in atomic absorption spectrometer area.
5. The optimal application for hydride atomic absorption method – The flow-injection hydride generator is applied in our AAS, it made the sensitivity and detection limit of hydride atomic absorption method to reach the best international level. For example, the best sensitivity for determination of arsenic is up to 0.08ng/ml/1% (0.15 in literatures), the best detection limit to 0.06 ng/ml and precision RSD to less than 2%. The efficiency of determination is very high. The whole process, including sampling, determining and cleaning, is just finished once pressing down start button 25—30S. As, Se, Sb, Bi, Sn, Pb, Te, Ge and Cd can be determined by hydride atomic absorption spectrometer, and Hg can be determined by the cold-vapor atomic absorption (hydride generator is required).
6. High reliability – In situation of power cut or operation mistake, temper can be automatically not only safeguarded but also flame is blown out. In unconfirmed reason, mechanical temper protector can be automatically started up.
7. High flexibility – This instrument has many functions to be applied to many analytical methods that enable convenient and quick interchanging between each other.
8. Background accurately be eliminated –Correcting background by advanced deuterium hollow cathode lamp can be done to eliminate correction error with energy no lost and background of more 1A could be corrected.
9. Advanced graphite furnace system –Controlled by microcomputer, temperature quickly be raised up, sensitivity increased and range of element determination magnified (required adding graphite furnace system).
10. Excellent software for operation and information treatment –The software for instrument data treatment manufactured by a group with head of famous theory professor of Tsinghua University in atomic absorption analysis, collecting new achievements for treatment data of home and abroad and combining with our atomic absorption experience gives data treatment results with high confidence level. Simultaneity, the software operation system designed by and combined with our experts is convenient, quick and advanced, which is a masterpiece of atomic absorption software.

Very low samples loss –With FAAS “Micro-sampler applied pulse at steady current” researched and produced by this company the instrument can obtain sensitivity of general flame atomic absorption only sampling 200-500μL in each determination and the relative standard deviation coefficient of samples can be less than 1%. Determination of copper, iron, manganese, magnesium and calcium needs only 40 μL of whole blood samples. It is very significant to medication, medical treatment, sanitation, epidemic prevention, health protection, etc, especially, to vocation for organic extraction and samples short.(micro-sampler applied pulse at steady current is available.)
13. Excellent ultraviolet solution molecule absorption – With using the hollow cathode lamp as light source and the automatic sampling and cleaning system with single slot, determination of ultraviolet/visible solution molecule absorption becomes quite simple, quick and efficient. The single determination only needs 2-4s of time and the quickest speed reaches to more than 300 times /hour. Otherwise, using automatic cleaning system with fixed single slot, sampling and determining become automatic, the error between standard and samples and that of sampling, container profile, and putting can be eliminated by deduction of fourth places of decimal. So the precision and accuracy are all increased. It is not only equal to a middle-top grade ultraviolet / visible spectrophotometer, but also much better than these molecule absorption instruments because of the complete set service of cleaning, sampling and determining system.
