Evening Primrose oil is a natural source of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The composition of the fatty acids are:Palmitic acid 4.0-8.0%, Stearic acid 0.5-3.0%, Oleic acid 4.0-15.0%, Linoleic acid 66.0-82.0%, Gamma Linolenic acid (GLA) 7.0-13.0%.
Efficacy:
The oil contains a kind of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) called Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA for short).
