as design limits and they typically exceed the anticipated systems operating
pressure and temperature. Y type strainers are specifically excluded from the
requirements of ASME Section VIII, Division I, under paragraph UI.
Nevertheless, due to the similarity of pressure boundary parts, today`s quality manufacturers use the ASME design for
guidelines. In fact, most of the Y type strainers cast or fabricated can be stamped pressure vessels.

<span>High pressure Y type strainers are recommended for residential and commercial water lines to protect delicate equipment, such as regulators and backflow preventers by filtering blockage causing sediment from the water system. &nbsp;High pressure Y strainer can be in casted steel, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, special steel etc.&nbsp;</span>Strainer screen size can be 20-600 mesh according to the requirements of the customer. Screen materical can be F304, F316 or inconel.Both flange ends and BW ends are avaiable for pipeline connection.&nbsp;
